On Sunday, June 9th at 3:00 PM, the long-awaited exhibition of the renowned painter Brita Seifert will open in her own studio, located at Aijenseweg 16b, 5854PT Aijen, municipality of Bergen L. The opening will be hosted by gallery owner Rene de Vreugd from Spain. Rene de Vreugd has a rich history in the art world, with Galerie de Vreugd en Hendriks.
Brita Seifert, originally from Germany, settled in the Netherlands in 2008, where she quickly gained attention for her extraordinary talent for drawing and painting. Roel van der Veen of Galerie Pictura discovered her potential, and since then she has gathered a large following of admirers, both among fellow artists and collectors. Her mastery of materials and her unique technique
have amazed many a spectator. In 2019, Brita Seifert and Roel van der Veen even got married.
Since 2013, Brita Seifert has been running her own drawing and painting school, for which the interest is so great that there is now a waiting list. She finds her inspiration in both the present and the past, from her personal experiences and travels, but also from music and various other sources of creativity. She translates these inspirations into her drawings and paintings with a master’s hand.
Her works are a reflection of desires, the wish to transform stories into something beautiful that viewers can enjoy. Sometimes her creations take the viewer to deeper thoughts, surreal worlds, or even macabre scenarios. Seifert’s art is a balance between feeling and reality, which is more than just visual representation; it is an experience you want to feel and a story you want to tell.
