The following individuals wish to emphasize that a relatively large number of Dutch Masters have a worldwide reputation as gifted painters, and that among contemporary Dutch artists there are also artists who create realistic paintings at a high level.
Their commitment to realistic painting is evident. As members of the Advisory Committee, they support the objectives of the Masters of Realism.

Tom S. Hageman studied at the Minerva Academy in Groningen. Later, in the seventies and eighties, he also taught there himself and became chairman of the Professional Association of Visual Artists. In 2004 he founded the ‘Classical Academy for Visual Arts’ in Groningen.

As a passionate art lover and connoisseur, Ronald Kraayeveld runs his gallery in rural Noord-Scharwoude (North Holland). The gallery presents changing exhibitions and has work in stock by artists from the Bergen School and West Frisian Naives, among others.
